3.3 Experimental Apparatus
The experimental detectors, electronics, and various support structures to be
used in the pibeta experiment are discussed here. Most of these components are
already on site at PSI and many have been used during in-beam tests of the
equipment including the 1997 measurement of the p + ->
e+ n ( g ) branching ratio.
